If you buy a 2 ghz computer, shouldn't you expect a 2 ghz computer? People who overclock and burn out their computer, and then run to their warenty for protection are sickening. They brought on the risk themselves! If it were up to me, overclocking your computer should be illegal due to fire hazards... Stupid people, don't do it!

I agree that those who voluntarily choose to overclock, knowing the risks, should not have the right to run to their warranty if anything goes wrong. However, calling it as far as illegal is too harsh.

And ironic to your statement that overclocking people are stupid, stupid people aren't the ones overclocking :p. Most of them don't know what overclocking is. Its the tech-savvy guys (and girls...) who overclock.

Firstly, Dell overclocks their computers on some of their top-of-the-line XPS computers. Secondly, when you overclock a computer, a higher quality aftermarket heatsink(s) may be necessary. Thirdly, overclocking requires a higher quality power supply able to provide the power stably and safely. Fourthly, the fire hazard thing you are talking about is unlikely to occur unless you are a moron.

Lastly, why does Henryman always spit out flame bait. Henryman is trolling all the time.
