I have a Lenovo x61s, and I just noticed that it now lists an HD DVD-ROM drive [D:]. However....nothing is hooked up to my laptop. The x61s does not have an internal optical drive of any kind. I don't even own an HD DVD-ROM drive. I reset the laptop and it still lists it.

So yeah...wtf is up with this, and what do I do about it.

Alright, that makes sense. I installed Daemon tools a while ago but never bothered using it and sort of forgot about it. I was kind of alarmed because I uninstalled the drive but it automatically reinstalled itself when I rebooted my laptop. Thanks.

Ya it's weird on my laptop when Dameon Tools makes a virtual drive it shows up as a HD-DVD drive, but on my desktop it shows up as a standard DVD-Rom. Maybe I have a different version that's newer on my laptop.
