    Hi there guys

This is my first post, so please be gentle. Recently i accquired this laptop from ebay for the measly sum of £170. Now for what i need it does it perfectly, however the seller has lost the restore disk.

I have searched everywhere online for drivers, and the only ones i can find are from the techguys.co.uk, and none are for vista, which is what i plan to use (no real reason, i just fancy a change)

Also if anyone else has one, what experiances have you had with the touchpad, i basically think its utter tosh!

    Its probably an unsupported laptop
Do not use vista do not do not do not
    Not until SP1
if there arent any drivers than i guess youll have to go witha supported OS unless you acquire the mysterious ability to mak eyour own drivers
have you tried...Ebay? for the recovery disk
might try to find the ODM (original design manufacturer) and see if they have any drivers

Hey guys, got all the drivers, now for some reason when installing the sound drivers in windows xp or media centre it claims that it can not locate the media device, however with vista it finds the sound card automatically. After a play around with vista and a few benchmarks i decided to revert back to xp, but now i have no sound. I have attempted to install manually still no luck. Any ideas?

You might need to install the UAA driver before you install the audio driver.
