Thanks. Downloaded this before... I'm always up for new software. :D Especially Photoshop... Though nothing really has changed (Well, I've only used it briefly to make a logo :p). Doesn't bother me though.

I am disappoint, nothing great or new in CS6.

I like the new crop tool, and slightly upgraded camera raw but everything else is really old stuff that was already there with an existing tool or feature but they gave it a dedicated tool to make it seem new.

Given that Adobe usually releases upgrades to their software every 12 months, and CS5.5 was released in May of last year, I'd say some time in the next few months... Adobe doesn't usually disclose a release date until it's actually launched.

However, things may go wrong, go good, could be early could be late. Never know.

I like the Black UI look, similar to Bridge and AfterEffects. I just find it easier on the eyes.

Did they add a feature to customize the toolbar? A colleague and I were looking for ways to remove some tools like you can remove the palette windows. It would be a good Workspace addition.

    I like the black too.

I'm pretty sure you can, I don't exactly know what you are referring to though, if you go to Edit > Menus you can customize the menus and what not, don't know about the tool bar though... Give it a shot though and let us know.

Thanks, I meant menu windows not palette windows. I'll have to download it and give it a shot.

Is there any danger is overwriting your current copies of Photoshop?

Did Adobe add support for multithreading? At this point, Photoshop's (and more broadly the Creative Suite's) biggest problem is performance

It won't overwrite, it'll just install alongside. I also have 5.5 installed.

Its been mulit-threaded for a while as far as I know.

More recent performance boosters are 64bit and GPU acceleration.
