ARGHH! Ive been trying to uninstall photoshop cs2 trial for quite some time now in vista. At like 80% or something it says it needs to end the process called "windows installer" but i cant end this while the uninstall and if i end it before the instal wont start. Then, if I try to use the repair option it asks for the file "photoshop cs2.msi" but i dont know what or where this is? Any suggestionS? Thanks

The .MSI file is the installation file. Where did you originally install the trial from? Many times the un-installer will expect to find the orginal install files (though I'm not sure why...).

The easiest thing to do may be to re-install the trial (d/l it again if you have to), then try uninstalling.

. u can try to remove CS2 trial manually (deleting folders, services & use cCleaner to clear registry entries)

    or

. u can try dowloading CS3 trial and see if it can p.u. CS2 presence and un.install it

    cheers ...

follow the links. Cant give you a direct link since you need to register.
If it doesnt work just get CS3 trial. It should detect the old CS2.
