I decided to use Picasa to organize my photos. I was putting photos in a folder, entering captions, putting in more photos, entering more captions... And then, I must've done something, because there's one specific photo that Picasa is refusing to show. If I copy another photo into the same folder, it shows up in Picasa no problem. But if I move this photo from the Picasa folder and move it back, for example, I get a little pop-up by the taskbar that there's a new photo, but it's not showing up in Picasa. I also tried: opening the photo in Photoshop, deleting it from the folder, and re-exporting it; cropping the photo drastically in Photoshop and re-exporting it; and doing Import from Folder, but same thing: popup acknowledges the file's existance, but it's not showing up in Picasa. Any ideas on what I did and how to undo it?

ETA: Now, mysteriously, some OTHER photos that I'm adding are also not showing up, while others are. I tried removing the folder from Picasa and re-adding it, but that adds back just those pictures that Picasa likes. ???

Nevermind! After other pictures began not showing up, I went a-searching, and figured out the problem. Picasa automatically filters out pictures under 250x250 unless "view small pictures" is checked, which is not checked by default. Going insane no more!
