The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Pictures not loading

    Not sure if this is a Windows 7 problem or IE8.

    Whenever I'm in a massive picture thread only half of the pictures would load. I would have to refresh for everything to load.

    That sounds more like a network related problem to me...might be IE though. But i'd say it's more a network issue...dropped packets perhaps?

    Really not sure what you can do to solve that other than refresh.
