Play a movie in WMP on 2 screens?

Google is being very unhelpful with this.

I want to be able to play a movie using the same player*, and have it appear on BOTH screens. Not stretched across the screens, not a library/control deck on one and the movie on another, 1 movie playing synced on 2 screens - sort of like what you'd see when you walk into a bestbuy and all the tv's are playing the same thing. It's important that they visually sync up because there will only be one audio source/output.

    Help?

*I have media player classic or winamp if WMP is incapable but would prefer WMP. Also aware that I could just play a movie in WMP in one screen and play the same movie in MPC on another but this defeats the purpose of this question, and leads to audio and syncing troubles.

Would that go over well if the 2 screens are not the same resolution, and not even the same aspect ratio? One is a 1080p 16:9 (the lappy), the other screen is some old 1024x768 pos.

Also, I couldn't find an option for this in ati CCC, where is it?

You can use mirroring to display the movie on two different resolution screens as long as the screens have built in scaling. The best would be if the screens are the same ratio, eg. 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, etc. You would need to set the resolution to that of the lowest resolution screen and have the higher resolution screen scale the image.

Hm yeah, mirroring makes it... ugly. The screens are 16:9 and 4:3, it just looks off (on the good screen), though it does work.
It's funny that I can manage to find a way to run multiple instances of WMP, but can't sync them perfectly, therein lies the problem - any advice/programs/anything to look into on that front would be helpful, but I feel like I'm overcomplicating this, there must be an easier way.

You probably can get them pretty close to synced if you write a short script or batch file to start them. There are also players that allow you to clone the screen, VLC I know can and it wouldn't surprise me if Media Player Classic can too.

I can't say for certain if this will work, but you might want to look into Ultramon. It allows you to mirror a desktop to other monitors with different resolutions (though it would seem wise to have the larger panel as the "source").
