Is there any software that would allow me to have a input to the microphone and play back simltaniously through the speakers?

No! But I highly highly suggest you buy new speakers with an extra place to plug in mate! Or maybe you can split the output one to your speaker and one to headphones!

You can select "listen through speaker" option in the audio manager in vista. Also turn off "feedback" or "cancellation" things off.

I have nice external speakers, I just want to run it through the laptop as a mixer so I have few cables and such.
