    Hi,
I recently got a Samsung 60" LED LCD TV capable of DLNA media streaming. When I push Video files from a directory they play in normal order by name. The issue lies in streaming photos. When I take the files from a folder it them plays them in reverse named order.

There is no sort nor does the folders sort order seem to be preserved either. I would like to push the folders as in like an album but if I display my daughters upcoming wedding photo's it would be nice to display them in order rather than in reverse. It would be even nicer if there were sort order preservation etc..............

Edit I found somewhat of a fix but I would still like just a few clicks from a folder.

    1.) Open media player.
2.) Sort order change by date for proper order.
3.) scroll to the files desired
    4.) select the first file.
5.) holding the space bar key and use the keyboard arrow keys to select all desired files
6.) right click and use play to

Photo Gallery may be the solution
I have it downloaded on mine, and it seems to show in expected order,
    this link S/B helpful
Where is Windows Photo Gallery in Windows 7?
Some interesting comment follow the article
(You do not have to have a windows live account to get it, as I do not, and avoid saving your photos to the cloud in this case, I just use an external HD; or USB stick )

With Photo Gallery I do not see an option to "Play To:". This is what Windows 7 uses to stream, push, files to a DLNA device. Media player streams these fine and I seem to even be able to make play lists and stream them as well.

You can just from a folder select PLAY TO and send the files over the stream to the device. Problem again is while videos run in a sorted order from the names pictures are reversed in their sequential name order..................
