I'm trying to play a DVD, and when I tell it to go out my HDMI out, I get no sound. If i just use the regular built in speakers, I have sound. This ONLY happens with DVDs in the DVD drive. If I play an .avi file everything works fine. I've checked the digital audio settings, DVD audio is set to use digital. Everything else works fine EXCEPT DVD AUDIO going out HDMI. It's Vista 64 bit, the problem happens in both WMP, WMC, but it works in VLC. What is wrong?
