    Hey guys,

I am just wondering if any of you guys have play PS1 games on the computer. If so, which emulator. I used to play PS1 on my very very old Dell L500cx desktop, but that was several years ago. I used to use ConnectX or something like that (I forgot the name), that was the best PS1 emulator I ever used. I already try using that program on XP, but failed, wont launch at all, I kept on messing the settings, still no good. :(

I want to start playing my old games and start FF9. Any info will be appreciated. :)

Hmm...aren't emulators illegal? If you want to know you have to search on other forums cuz I don't think this forum supports it.

No, they are not illegal, but you have to own the original game. If the game copied, thats illegal.

It's illegal to obtain the BIOS but I think you're allowed to extract it from your own PS1 using some external hardware but I'll assume you already have the BIOS... as said above searching Google will tell you more than you need to know.

A good emulator I used to use was called ePSXe.

Emulators themselves are not illegal, and it is legal to have the games IF you already own a copy.

The most stable one I've found is ePSxE.

Nevermind, I finally got Connectix VGS working. I got the XP patch and more messing around. I am very very happy.

Try ePSXe. That's the most popular one. There are many different graphics plugins you can try which produce varying results depending on your graphics card.
