I assume you're trying to install it from Windows Vista or 7? It's not as easy as just putting the disk in the drive.

    1) Please do not post threads about the same topic multiple times.
    2) Moved to software. Hopefully you will get more help there.

Thank you and have a nice day.

    Hello,

As stated in post before you cannot just put the disk in and install WinXP.
You first need to prepare your hard drive and get all the drivers for WinXP and any other software ypu need will have to be reinstalled as well.
The best thing for you if you have not done this before is the buy a new hard drive and install WinXP on it, that way you will have you old drive to fall back on if WinXP is not compatible with you computer or if you cannot find all the drivers you need.

Flattery will get you nowhere,
Why not just install Sun Virtual Box or other VM software and install XP in the Virtual machine? BTW please do not rep me for this response  If you do not want to go this route -
Can you please post the Brand and exact model of the computer. Also do you have the drivers already downloaded or a driver disk?
Normally I would charge $60.00 US per hour for software installs and doing this may take a few hours depending on the speed of your internet connection and condition of you hardware.
do you have an empty partition to install this OS?

Sorry, I don't know Jack about downgrading from 7 to XP. I do, however, know a bit about forums and know that threads titled
and not describing the problem in the title are usually pretty dumb. Having read this one, I'd like to report the trend hasn't changed.

Failure. Expected wait time for free help from people volunteering their time is not 0 seconds. Give the experts 24 hours to show up before you mention that you still need help, politely.

I'm not here to be your personal tech support person, homeslice. I'm willing to help with fixes and explaining stuff, but I am NOT going to sit down and walk you through what could be an hour long process just because I'm a nice guy. Especially not when you're a jerk about it.
