Hi folks,
I manipulated some things in my registry regarding start-up. Unfortunately, I messed it up to the point of being unable to proceed to the desktop mode upon boot-up. I am now stuck in user-accounts. Luckily, I was able to back-up the most recent registry. Now, how do I make use of this registry back-up upon boot-up to be able to solve my problem? Thank you in advance.

You know if you make about 15 more posts you can take up the entire first page with your single problem

Boot up in safe mode and then go to regedit, and import your .reg file?

Do we really need a third freakin' thread about this topic? You system is hosed. You screwed it up by editing the registry without having ANY sort of back up. Stop whining and begging for help and just reinstall the OS already.

Sounds like a classic case of "Ready! Fire! Aim!".
Like I said before just bite the bullet and reinstall the OS you already said you recovered the data. Lesson learned.

Two threads for the same problem? I'm confused now.
