Hi all. I have a new Dell Vostro. My iTunes library is on my Dell Inspiron.
So I installed Itunes on my Vostro (Win XP), and when I connect my Ipod mini, it won't allow me to move the songs into itunes, even though it tells me I have licenses remaining.
I have about 400 songs, probably 50 of which were purchased through Itunes, the rest are ripped from CD's or other downloads.
OK, so I'm giving up on my ipod now anyway, and am wondering:
How do I get my files off my Inspiron to use on my Vostro (just using windows media player, and maybe a sandisk MP3 player in the future)??
Where does itunes store all the songs I imported?? I can't really seem to find a folder with all of them. Will itunes have converted them all into formats that won't work with anything else??
I don't even care if I lose the songs I purchased, I can download them from limewire, etc.
Help!
