The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

lol+++ even after all these years of forcefeeding w10 + Sludge browser & Binge, the general population have not become idiots, they still go for the better alernatives (ref. quality of search engine & browser(s), privacy is another discussion).

Sad there is not (yet) any OS ready (apart from a refurbish of w7) to make w10 itself end up in the 1 or 2 %. The Linux guys should think hard, opportunities have never been this ripe imo.

As long as everything that springs forth from the fountain of filth maintains its current downward trajectory, Google will continue to dominate. And, since Google has no real match, I am more than happy to help them maintain their unholy monopoly. Regardless of what I think about Google, (whose social and political ideals I absolutely reject,) I'm not going to settle for the alternatives when they all suck. The underdogs haven't earned any stripes, so I pay no attention to them.

And, Micro$lop is the paradigm of the expression " a legend in their own minds" LOL. Sadly, we've painted ourselves into a corner with Windoze OS X and it's truly pitiful that a downgrade is the only excellent solution available if you plan to stick with Windows.

Bing... lol... if they had kept IE that would've be a real competitor to Google.
