Opera 9.60 is out, in case you didn't know.

i dont think chrome will replace the wonderful Firefox but firefox has been a bit shaky when it comes to some java & flash apps(games), I wonder how this one will cope then i will officially have no use for IE at last

Minefield will give Chrome a run for its money.

I thought "minefield" was just the codename used for betas of firefox 3.1? My technical knowledge is very limited though, so correct me if I'm wrong!
-
You're right, it is merely the name for Firefox alphas/betas. They used it as the alpha/beta name for Firefox 3, too. I don't trust them in the alpha stage - security isn't quite up to par at times - but by beta stage they may be okay. But my recent policy is to wait for official versions of Firefox. Though I'm still running 2.17 of Firefox - not a huge fan of 3.xx.
I've pretty much decided to pass on Chrome for Windows for now. But seeing as there's a Linux port I'll give that a chance - my Linux is too new to be officially supported by Opera, though it does work. -
Tried it, even liked it. But I missed FF add-ons so now back to FF3 for now. I heard though that Chrome will also have add-ons in the future and that's good to hear.
Chrome is still a bit buggy though. Like windows popping up behind the browser window when I try to download and it asks me where to put the downloaded file. But yeah, I think Chrome will have a bright future ahead of it. And I might become a part of it [by becoming one of its new converts/users
