I just installed Win 8 CP on my Fujitsu ST5112 slate, and to my surprise the button drivers for Win 7 will not work. So I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a shortcut for switching between landscape and portrait modes, to replace the button that does this but no longer works. I'd prefer a keystroke shortcut, but don't know if this is possible. An icon shortcut would also work, but when I tried creating one it didn't work. I'm wondering what text I should enter in the command line that would take me straight to the control panel page that does this, or would even just automatically switch between modes. Is this possible?

Does CTRL+ALT+Arrow keys not work in Windows 8? That is what I used to use with my Toshiba before I bought a Sony and they disabled rotating completely...

Just tried that, didn't work. All it does in Win 8 is the same thing the arrow keys alone do, which is scroll up/down or left/right.

Check your Graphics Driver for hotkeys. On this machine with Intel HD2000 graphics Ctrl+Alt+(arrow key) rotates the screen.

edit: That is if you have a keyboard.

So I'm assuming it's not possible to create a shortcut? Again, that key combo doesn't work on my computer. And yes, I do use a USB keyboard.

I was looking for ways to enable rotation with my Vaio and I came across a Tablet PC Fujitsu Thread. It was in the Fujitsu section on this forum, looked kind of old and I can't find it again with google.

It had indepth details on how to edit the registry for Tablet PC orientation settings. It might have some answers but then again, it was for Windows 7.

Good luck, wish I could help more.
