Is it possible to run Windows XP Pro on a 64 bit system? I've heard so many negative things about Windows XP 64 that I don't wanna risk using it.

You mean an AMD 64 bit CPU?

If so, then yes. All AMD 64 bit CPUs are 32 and 64 bit capable
