We need more goofy threads like these. Nice change of pace. -
7.3 seconds.

About 16, 17 seconds if I haven't used the notebook for long. If I have played a game or something, maybe 20 or so.
Strangely enough, Vista shuts down much faster than Windows 7 does, usually around 12 seconds or so, if I haven't used it much.
I think it's about time I edited that WaitToKill service. -
About 3 seconds if I hold down the Power Button...
-
12 seconds to screen out but power light off at about 14 seconds.........
-
11 seconds on my dm3t, just a tad under 9 on my desktop
-
-
I can get it down to about 1 second if I don't have the battery in, and I yank out the power cord, lol. -
Haha
now that wouldnt be nice would it ! Mine is about 13-17 seconds
-
8 seconds here.
But i modified my registry to do that.
I think 8 seconds is generally more than enough, and I make sure I never have stuff I need unsaved at shutdown anyway.
No problems.
