This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Power profile/settings issues

    Ive had this minor issue before, i cant remember how i fixed it. I think it fixed somehow itself.

    Anyway i just did a clean install of x64 vista and my power profile isnt saving. Everytime i restart or log-on it switches back to the "Balanced" profile. I want it to stay at "High Performance"

    turns out RMclock is conflicting with the saving part
