I recently purchased a new laptop, and now I have two versions of PowerDVD, and I'm not sure which one to use.

My laptop came with an OEM version of PowerDVD 7 pre-installed on Vista. However, on my old computer I have the full version of PowerDVD 5 which I purchased back in 2003.

PowerDVD 5 is the complete version, while PowerDVD 7 has more advanced features, but has a number of them disabled due to it being an OEM copy.

Which one should I run on my new computer? Or both? I read that 7 has certain features which allow for power saving on notebooks, and getting through more of a movie with less battery, but I think 5 has better audio and support because it's a complete version.

    Any thoughts?

I don't think PowerDVD 5 will work with Vista since it was released in 2003 or so.
