OEM dvd Softwares such as HP's QuickPlay and so on. Which is better? (yes I know the other is totally FREE but aside from that)

PowerDVD is probably one that most people use, but is really comes down to end user preference. If it works for you, then that's fine.

There was already a similar thread, where I explained the pain I experience with HP Quickplay. Don't bother, it's horrible, and AnyRegion DVD software aren't compatible with it either.
My advice would be PowerDVD. I'll try to look for a link to the other thread, it'll be an interesting read... -
ok thanks. I already switched to powerdvd instead. On first impressions; the HP quickplay seemed consume a lot less memory than powerdvd......

HP Quickplay runs in the background and takes 20% CPU usage. I singled it out, and I have no clue what it does
