    Quick question, I downloaded the Powermizer Switch.

    Which setting allows for best battery life, off or on? I'm safe to assume that the opposite of this will yield the best performance.

    If you are talking about this, then don’t use it unless you want to disable powermizer. By default powermizer is enabled, it will automatically clock down the GPU to save power and reduce heat. That tool is a quick workaround to disable powermizer by changing a registry setting.
    Simply put : Powermizer ON = Good for your notebook + more battery life.
