    Hi

    I got a question :p

Most of the times when you buy a laptop it has hidden recovery partition with windows or it is coming with recovery dvd disk.

What about clevo type laptops with preinstalled oem windows.
You have got sticker with activation key but no hidden partition nor dvd recovery disk.

How to reinstall system if I have to?? What is the best option to do it?
I know I can do a backup of my OS right now (using acronis software etc) and use it later but is there any other option ?

    Cheers for any answers

I suppose you've got windows 7, download your version from a legitimate source, see http://forum.notebookreview.com/win...-digitalriver-windows-7-sp1-13-languages.html then make a bootable usb stick \ dvd. Use the product key from your sticker to activate.

And, of course, always make regular backups \ disk images, saved on external disk. Am recommending http://www.todo-backup.com/products/home/download.htm, others use macrium etc. All these are IMO much better than the windows built-in backup.

Every Clevo seller I know of includes an OEM Windows install disk. Some places will create recovery disks, too.
