    why would you do that?

    heck if you dont want it there is a good chance you can just sell it for a small profit when you get it.

    oh maybe you can get the $30 student cost for it, I guess that would be a reason.

    Well should be simple to cancel but nobody can tell you how to do it without knowing where its coming from.

    I need to cancel my pre-order since I got 4-keys from the whole MSDNAA through ACM deal for $19. I checked the return policy on the Microsoft website and it says I can only cancel it once it is released (download version). I'm gonna try to cancel by phone earlier though, I don't want my CC charged and then get refunded.

    Said deal is now dead.

    Perhaps you could contact them from wherever you purchased it from.
    I'm sure they will cancel it for you.
