    Greetings,
I have a weird question. I purchased an Alienware gaming desktop about a year and a half ago that came with Vista Home edition and I was basically wondering if I would be able to upgrade that to the 7 Home edition? I thought I read somewhere that OEM editions were not upgradable but I can't tell how reliable the source is, and since my Vista came installed on my system is it really considered an OEM edition? Sorry you all I know the preorder questiosn are probably getting old but I don't want to miss the good deal if I can get a more reliable/faster OS than Vista! :D

    Thanks again!

Alright, I think I understand now. I went ahead and preordered both Windows 7 Home and Professional versions (to upgrade my OEM Vista Home, and OEM XP Pro editions). Thanks for the information qhn! :)
