Not sure if this is the correct forum or not. If not, please move.

I'd like a dummies guide to using prime 95. I'm interested in stressing my CPU for an hour or so to monitor temps. I don't want a 24 hour test.

Any suggestions or references are appreciated.

    Thanks!

Prime 95 is pretty self-explanatory with option explained.
    Large FFT
    Small FFT
    Blend

Each of those simulate different CPU/Ram workflow, usually Large FFT to check if the system will fry and small FFT to check stability(CPU).
