I have used eBoostr it uses a bit of your memory as a ramdisk and stores the file you use most frequently use or you can specify apps of your choice you want to speed up.

It is a caching software not RAM Drive. They do have another product called RAM Drive but Primo Cache is the best caching software out there that I learned about here when I was using the garbage RAPID mode of Samsung and not doing RAID since RAPID isn't supported in RAID so people here used to tell me to use Primo Cache if I want to use RAID which is a superior caching software.

They were stuck at version 1.03 I think for more than a year so this upgrade should be big.

The 60 day free trial is a no nag trial so you install it and forget it for 60 days and can use it to its full potential for free basically for the 60 days.

interesting, what if I store my browser on the RAM disk, will a reboot cause me to lose my cookies and have to relogin to every site again?

You can view the files that it has cached into ram, But i suppose it either does not cache files that need to survive a reboot or it writes them to the hdd/ssd before the computer shuts down, I never had any problems with it, but i did not see a lot of difference it`s more for people with slow hdd`s , but it could reduce wear on an ssd.

True I never bothered with RAM disks because my system only has SSDs, but to people who still use HDDs this will greatly improve performance.

Hmm i think i will test this, and see if it makes my Dual 850 Pro's in RAID faster...

then I will test it on my SHARK 4 tomorrow with its SM951 2280 512GB SSD and see if it makes a difference there too...

wait, this doesn't even make sense...
