Whenever i want to make a screenshot of what i have on my screen on my computer, i would click print screen, then open Paint then paste and i would be able to have the image copied.

However it doesn't work. It seems to copy by desktop background wallpaper each time. Previously i had no desktop wallpaper besides the basic one on windows 7. Is there a reason for this?

Something else to try is Fn + Prt Sc.

I would also add that Alt + Prt Sc or Alt + Fn + Prt Sc will capture the currently active window rather than the whole display.
