Same Microsoft Pulblisher document (266 Kb):
I print it on my HP LaserJet 5L with my HP dv6000 laptop (Windows XP), no problem.
When I attempt to print it with the HP dv7 (Windows Vista), I get an out of memory error!

BTW, I did update the driver for the LaserJet.

Will I have to buy a new printer or is there a cheaper solution?

    Thanks.

Is it normal for Vista to require more printer memory?

I guess I could buy some RAM for the printer...

Something that comes to my mind...

Delete the printer drivers on Vista, reboot.
Then connect the printer and let Vista search for drivers.

    I suspect a faulty driver.

And printer memory won't have anything to do with it - it would print slower if the file is larger though I think...

(As far as I'm aware printer memory is only interesting if you want to print the same several times as files wouldn't have to be resent)
