I have just bought Brother HL 2140 laser printer. It works well except that it doesn't seem to remember the printer setting. I want to print at 300 DPI, toner save mode. But I have to change the setting every time I want print a new page. How do I save the setting so it doesn't keep going back to the default setting? I have the same problem with both Vista and XP. I have the latest driver and latest patches for both OS.

I had two HP printers and in both I had to change the settings everytime I wanted something different from the default. The funny thing is that I liked it because I didn't have to remember each time what I had set before.Maybe that's the way they are supposed to work.
