Any idea why, when I create a spreadsheet in Excel, when I try to print it on different printers, the page setup or print area is different on all of them. I go into the page setup and verify it is all the same setting as before but when I print, the ranges are all different. I have tried same brand and differenet brands. Any idea of how to make it all conform? I do a print preview before I print and I can see that it is all different depending on which printer is selected.

Are you manually setting the print area? The "set print area" file menu.

Are all printers using the same paper size?

Are all the printers capable of printing on the same percentage of the paper? ie minimum margin size.

all these things might cause something like you are describing.

Printers have slightly different print ranges, but it shouldn't make a huge difference in your sheet printing. There is an option to force to one page if you have a column or row that keeps falling off.

To make sure where the problem comes from, print sth from Word and see what happens. If the results are still different, then it's the printers for sure; otherwise it's in excel.
Also, you can try printing the spreadsheet as a selection. If even then the results from the printers are different, then check the default options of the printer from the control panel /you can do it from excel, too/.

Highlight the area you want printed in Excel and hit File > Print Area > Set Print Area

Now go into print preview, select Setup and adjust the scaling.
