That's not just software, it's software and hardware driven.

I know what you mean. Kind of wish I had that on my latitude. Did a bit of researching and found out that it required the user to have a nvidia video card and a certain piece of software i.e. control point.

While research to see if there was anything similar to it, I came across a company call Oculis labs. They have a software base privacy feature that is quite similar to the dell latitude. The only thing required is a webcam. What is even nice is that they now offer a trial version.

Oculis Labs | Computer Display Privacy

Is a video of the software called private eye

Just tried it on my system and I am quite impress. Have not adjusted any settings yet ,but there are quite a few options such as face recognition privacy. It does what it is advertise. Initial impression is that this is a nice alternative to the hardware/film base privacy screen. You can adjust the settings to blur, mosaic or add a picture to the screen. I have not been able to test it with another person looking over my shoulder yet.

The only downsize is that it is not quite as fast to change back the screen, but it has a keyboard option to switch back. Since this is a trial version, the logo of the product will appear when using the blur or mosaic option. So far so good
