    Hi Guys,

I am really at my wits end with this one.
I re-installed Windows Live Mail this morning, because I wanted to see if I liked it more than Thunderbird (I migrated to Thunderbird about a month ago, and I liked it much more. I just wanted to confirm that I would let go of WLM for good). I went through the entire install process, and tried to run WLM. Upon trying to do so, I got the message:

"Windows Live Mail could not be started. It may not be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or that you are not out of memory. (0x80041161)."

Ok. So I go to uninstall it, and usually there is a "Windows Live Essentials Uninstaller" that you would select to uninstall from your control panel. This is absent in my case. I have attached a picture of all the programs I have installed (according to Revo Uninstaller-Windows built in one doesn't show anything either) and as you can see, the only thing related to Windows Live is the sign in assistant, and the online sync agent.

So then I go and install other Live applications, thinking that if I install another Live application, it might provide me with the uninstaller for the Essentials suite. Wrong! Nothing happens, except the programs get installed. Then I started surfing the net for solutions. I came across of a couple, all of which I employed, all to no avail. The last one I tried told me to delete the program folder titled "Windows Live" in the Program Files folder, reboot, and reinstall the Windows Live applications. The problem is that the installer recognizes I still have the other applications installed (rightfully so, I'm assuming, since deleting the program files does not necessarily delete the program), so it won't let me reinstall. I have includes pictures of all this stuff, so you guys can see whats up.

For your reference, I am using Windows 7, Home Premium, 64-bit. I have seen a lot of solutions to problems with installing/uninstalling Windows Live Essentials online, but none of them tell you how to without the Essentials Uninstaller, and I can't seem to get it!

This is driving me up the wall, so your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You could try the free trial of the pro version of Revo uninstaller. It supports 64 bit and cleans remnants of left over programs.

    Revo Uninstaller Pro 2.0.2

    Uninstall already uninstalled app's
    Real Time Installation Monitor
    Multilevel Backup System
    Grouping, Printing, Exporting
    and many more...

    Nope, nothing worked!
gerryf19: yeah, the programs were listed, and i removed all, rebooted, and tried to reinstall, but it didn't change a thing.

I have contacted the Live Team about this, and I've sent them various logs (application, install, etc.) and they're trying to isolate the issue and fix it...I'll post the solution when I figure it out, in case anybody else every encounters something like this.
