    My windows is acting funny
    I am the only user of this laptop
    i cant start regedit
    whenever i try starting regedit from Run i get the message registry editing has been disable by administrator

    also i cant view folder options

    i am the administrator

    please help

    Sounds like you've got yourself a virus/trojan/malware. Get a good virus scan, and you might consider starting up gpedit.msc from your start->run bar and giving your user permissions to use regedit.

    or open run and type this:

    REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\DisableRegistryTools /v DisableCMD /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

    You need to find a good virus scanner and adware remover, but more than likely to be truly sure that it's clean you'll have to reformat your machine. Something that deep inside Windows takes a lot of technical skill to remove, if it's at all possible.

    One more error
    when i try to open C drive from my computer i get this message:
    "copy.exe is not a valid win32 application"

    please help

    Have you tried running in Safe mode and doing all their suggestions?
