    Problem installing Windows XP Pro O/S on NEW laptop

    Hello everyone,
    I just got my new laptop (Clevo M570A) and it is great but...
    I turned it on and put in the Windows XP Pro disk the Cd Rom drive works for a minute then sets me at a screen that is blank except for a underscore ( _ ) blinking the top left corner of the screen and it just sits that way...
    So I tried restarting with the XP cd in the drive... same thing...OMG!!!
    I am puzzled I have never seen this before!
    Can somebody PLEASE HELP ME!

    Nevermind!
    I figured it out!
    I had started installation as soon as I got the laptop then thought I wanted to look at BIOS before I installed windows
    I guess enough of the installation had been done so that my laptop tried to boot off the HDD and of course it didn't have the full install so it coouldn't boot!

    Ok that is my story
