    Problem reinstall my Lenovo X1

    Hi:
    When I trying to reinstall my new Lenovo X1 with Windows 7 x64 the installation stops after a few minutes and say it needs a driver for the cd/dvd. There is no diffrence wen I install from external dvd or with a usb-stick. Help anybody??

    Just have to ask the obvious: When you install from USB memory, you do have the DVD disconnected, right?

    Yes, I have tried with only usb connected and only external cd/dvd connected

    Are you using the Lenovo factory restore media?, or some ISO you downloaded, this error is almost always a corrupted ISO or burn job.
