I have installed xp 32-bit on my Dell Studio XPS 16 (comes with Vista 64-bit) and i wish to keep both, when install xp it works fine, but as soon as i repair the vista startup and go into vista and use EasyBCD even though i configure it correctly, xp won't start. It gives me an error and stays at a black screen with some white text (i don't remember exactly what it said but i looks like a BSOD). Windows XP works perfectly (i'm using it right now) but i wanted to know if there is a way to set up a boot them from xp intead of in vista?

try setting it to "dual boot" rather than "duel boot"
then maybe the oses wont combat each other :p

i fixed the problem, the way i set it up it wasn't automatically finding the boot file for xp (EasyBCD wasn't) so i did it the right way and it's perfect!
