The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Problem with Cyberlink Youcam

    Don't know if this is a software problem or a problem with the webcam itself....... but when I record a video on Youcam and then play it back, the playback skips and speeds up.

    However on Skype or Windows Live video conversatations the video quality appears to be fine?!

    I have updated to the latest version of Youcam but that didn't solve it

    If anyone can shed any light on this it would be huuugely appreciated!!

    Oh... and its a Vista Compaq if that helps! :)
