So my computer crashed and when i restarted it there was a problem with winload.exe and the os would not start. I have Windows 7 64-bit btw. The laptop is a Acer 4820tg and i tried the acer recovery program and the recovery disks but both failed to fix the problem due to a I/O device issue. So i tried using a Windows iso booting from a usb drive. At the menu that chooses which partition to install into, a warning came up on every partition saying that the drive was about to fail. When i try installing on any partition the installation fails because saying that not all files are present. Ive re-downloaded the iso and it says the same thing. This computer is 1 month old and so is my harddrive failing or is there another issue?

    How do i fix this?

Tell Acer the drive reports imminent failure and get them to replace the harddisk for you under warranty.
You are just unlucky to get a failing harddisk or it could be the result of rough handling.
