My notebook's usb port seems to behaving a bit odd/off these days. I use MS Wireless KB and Mouse Combo 1000. On some days the kb and mouse attached simply doesn't respond, it's like there's nothing to power the sensor connected to the USB. I was wondering if this thing may have anything to do with the power settings as the kb and mouse start working automatically after some time at most times when I come across this problem. I was wondering if this is a hardware or software issue. Any help would be welcome.
    The notebook is LG-S1.

Both the keyboard and the mouse each have 2 batteries inside them and the sensor for both of these devices connects to a usb port.
The sensor is located comfortably near them.
