Hello there,
well basically i've tried undervolting my laptop,1st i tried NHC but the voltages of multipliers wudn't show up(i was told it's cz i have a SantaRosa processor)then i used RMClock...thing is in the CPU info part it says minimal multiplier 6x @ 0.937 V and maximum 11x @ 1.30 V
Problem is...in the performance on demand part all the multipliers read 1.300V,i don't know if they actually all use 1.300 V or the program isn't reading them right??
And i'm not sure,if i am to undervolt, what voltage should i set each multiplier to,since i don't even know what the default was...
Anyone has any idea how to solve this problem?Or what voltages shud i set the multipliers to?
Thanks in advance![]()

i have checked that thread yeah, but it says i should lower the largest multiplier 1st and keep checking it till it's stable, but what about the rest, should i keep them at 1.300 while i set the largest(the 11x) to a lower voltage?

But that's only available with the newest beta!

That's not necessarily true, I say this since it's dependent on the model of CPU my T5450 only goes down to .95 while I think the T7200 can go to .85 or .9.
To moby: you can leave the other voltages if you want or you can have RMClock use the automatic intermediate voltage stepping. Just remember to uncheck the multipliers that won't ever be used. For example, speedstep uses multipliers of 1, 3, 5 (0 also if you include SLFM) so these are the only voltages I bother to change and have enabled. -
well how can i know which multipliers are not used?
and where's that intermediate voltage stepping option? -
another thing sorry, sometimes RMClock shows i got up till multiplier 10x and sometimes 11x :S why is that?

I found the used multipliers just by watching the speeds that speed step uses and then match them with the FSB speed to get the final speed.
My bad, it's called auto-adjust intermediate states VID. It's on the profiles page.
edit: if it shows up to 10x but will use 11x that is the IDA (Intel Dynamic Acceleration) kicking in, it OC's one core slightly when a single threaded task is being performed and the other core is idle.
edit2: wish mine had IDA, oh well, maybe I'll find a PLL that I can use to OC it. -
alright thanks notyou,i'll try that
is it normal though that i can't see the 11x multiplier in the list anymore?
