    Hi,

I've recently come across a small problem and was wondering if anyone here could shed some light, or help me out a bit.

I own a Toshiba Camileo H20, (HD camcorder, which records to SD cards), and recently filmed an hour or so of video. Now the video plays fine on the camera itself, and works just as well if I hook it up to my TV via HDMI.

But whenever I attach the card to my pc to copy over the video files, windows sees the drive (in My Computer), but freezes when I click/select it, causing me to quit using task manager.

The card has worked fine before, including transferring footage from the card to my pc, yet it's not working this time. I've also tried other, similar, SD cards in the reader, so I know it's not that causing the problem.

I've tried the same thing on a Mac, which doesn't 'see' the card, i.e. It doesn't appear on the desktop. But it DOES appear in the disk utility app, only it is greyed out. I have used the utility to attempt to repair the disk, but it did not work.

I would like any assistance/pointers that you could give me, as I'm really stuck here.

Also, as I mentioned above, there is already footage on the card, so reformatting the card is out of the question. (If worst comes to worse, i'll just have to use the camera to play it back on. Oh, and the camera doesn't work as a dedicated card reader either.)

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan
