My default application for .rar files is 7-zip and its not in the context menu when I right click it so I can easily perform "extract files here" instead of opening the 7-zip file manager and choosing extract files to desktop.

I have the setting like that on my laptop but not on my desktop. Installed everything the same way.

Same with my default music player, AIMP2. It's not in the context menu so I can easily right click a .mp3 and choose some actions. I have to choose, "Open with" then select AIMP2. Very annoying.

7-zip and AIMP2 ARE set as the default programs, so it's not because of that reason. I've exhausted all possible options that I can think of and still no luck.
