simple...WMP11 is a beta. I don't know if it will work, but I'd suspect it is a "bug" in WMP11.

WMP 11 is the culprit. Oddly enough, if you install WMP11 first and then install Firefox, it is usually okay. The guys over at Mozilla just haven't gotten around to making plug-in for WMP11 yet.

Maybe if you try the same i do with media player 10, even if i installed first it did't streaming videos. Download this .dll files and put them where you installed firefox, in the plug in folder:
    http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/N/npdsplay.dll/3.0.2.629/download.html
    http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/N/npwmsdrm.dll/9.00.00.3250/download.html
    http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/N/npdrmv2.dll/9.00.00.32508/download.html
just copy them to the plug in folder, then restrat firefox and you're set. It worked for the WMP10, try with WMP11.
    Hope it helps!
