    Hi,

I'm having trouble connecting my HP G60 laptop to Sony HDTV via Monster HDMI cable.

On the TV I selected HDMI and gives: check output signal error

The laptop has Intel GMA 4500m and a hdmi out.

Is there a way someone can help me please to get video and audio on to my hdtv from my laptop.

It would be a big help.

    thanks

Assuming your doing it right, I had the same problem.

Try and update your video card to the latest drivers.

I also have a sony hdtv, but I have an NVIDIA GPU.

All i have to do is connect it to my tv, and switch the output (right click on desktop and select the TV)

    Try that first.

Win+P and select your favorite display setup.
