I just installed a new 320 GB HD in my notebook and I have installed all of the most recent drivers/windows updates for Vista 64 Ult. Unfortunately, I am having problems right clicking or using the menu key on the keyboard to bring up menus. This happens most consistently in the start panel. I can right click to bring up a properties tab, but I am unable to bring up a menu on the recent programs (to do things like remove from list). Also, I am unable to bring up a menu on My Computer or any of the other icons in the start window.

Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone have a quick fix?

Also, the frequently used programs are not showing up in the start menu. There is the default internet option at the top and 9 blank slots which should be populated by program shortcuts.

Thoughts? Is there any place other than start menu properties where I can adjust these settings?
