When I crack a DVD movie and burn it to DVD-5, often (though not always) it is pixellated at some point and frequently, doesnt finish. What am I doing wrong? I have checked I can watch the raw IFO/VOB files on the computer, so its the process of transferring to DVD that is the issue. I am trying to play them on a different DVD player though. Could that be the issue?

FYI - Ive ripped using both DVD decrypter and DVD shrink. Burned to DVD using DVD shrink or CloneDVD. Tried different blank media. Reduced the size of the target to 4.5gb to avoid the edge of the disk but no effect. Why is this happening?? Is it the software that rips/compresses the movies? My DVD burner or player or the media?

Any solutions - other than not ripping DVDs in the first place!
