Hi,
I am trying to install windows xp on a machine that I bought with the my new computer that has vista-- ugghh pop ups! The installation went off without a hitch thanks to previous posts, except for one small problem. The device manager says that my ethernet is not recognized. Does anyone know where I can find a driver before I go insane?

How about Compaq's website... Support section should have drivers for all their stuff.

I down loaded all of the drivers and none fixed this problem. In Vista, the device mnger showed an Intel Pro/100 ve network connection. I am not sure that this is my eternet. Any suggestion for what I am looking for?
Other posts discuss a network folder in the swsetup in the dv2000t, but the network folder is not present on my notebook. -
Use these drivers they are the same for the v6000
